Prices on Tradzy
We do not show live prices for Netherlands yet. A market joins Tradzy Markets when we have a price source we are allowed to publish. Until then this page explains how the market works.
How investing works in Netherlands
Shares in Netherlands trade on the Euronext Amsterdam. To buy them you need a broker that is able to trade on that exchange, and you pay in EUR.
The regulator is the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM). It licenses brokers and publishes the rules for listed companies, so checking that a broker is registered with it is the first step.
Before you invest, read the rules for foreign investors in Netherlands: some markets limit who may buy, and some restrict how money leaves the country. Our guide on foreign investor rules covers what to check.
Prices are quoted in EUR. If you live in another currency, a move in the exchange rate can change your return even when the share price does not move. See currency risk for foreign stocks.
